STOP SOPA!
Steve Troletti Photography has gone dark today in protest of the U.S. Stop On-Line Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect-IP Act (PIPA). The web has given everyone a platform to share their ideas and creative works with the world. The language of these bills creates too many liabilities for websites to allow you that freedom. These bills also institute the same systems for censorship previously reserved for authoritarian regimes. These systems should never be established regardless of intent. Contact your representative in Congress and say NO to SOPA. Call your Senator and say NO to PIPA. Latest HuffingtonPost article on the matter.
