I CAN SEE YOU – Damselfly
I CAN SEE YOU – Damselfly
Here’s an image I was happy to get. You don’t always find a Damselfly ready to cooperate and pose for you. Cooperate is a big word, I was however able to place myself in front of her to symmetrically align her eyes each side of the leaf. Being back-lit, I had to balance the subject with a quick blast of flash. (Nikon SB-910 on manual at 1/64 power)
At first the background bothered me some but I came to realize that it documents well the environment where these Damselflies were found, Wild Carrot bushes.
I hope you enjoy this image as much as I do. As always you can purchase my images on my photo gallery @ http://www.trolettiphoto.com
