What you see is the view of the UdeM (University of Montreal) Peregrine Falcons Nestbox WEB CAM. The Nesting box was setup and installed in 2008 on the 23rd floor of the tower of the main building of the University of Montreal (pavillon Roger-Gaudry). The nest faces South-East with a view of the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery. These Peregrine Falcons are named Spirit and Roger. They were first reported in 2007. In 2009 these Peregrine Falcons, Spirit and Roger, had their first successful nesting. They successfully raised two Peregrine Falcon chicks.

Here’s an outdoor view of the nesting box on the 23rd floor of the tower of the main building of the University of Montreal (pavillon Roger-Gaudry)

Below is a social discussion (mainly in french) regarding Spirit and Roger. You can follow the discussion in English with other Falcon enthusiasts on the Bird Cams Around the World forum.

A big Thank You to Eve Bélisle and her team at the University of Montreal  for organizing and managing this Peregrine Falcon program year after year.
