Trash Littering the banks of Montreal's Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park

Trash Littering the banks of Montreal's Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park

A small sample of trash, mainly plastic, littering the Banks of Montreal's Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park.

This is a fresh set of pictures taken since Earth Day 2012. Now that the fishing season is in full swing and the weather is favorable to park visitors the trash is accumulating at an alarming rate.

Montreal's Île-de-la-Visitation Nature Park is built along Montreal's Back River that flows into the Saint Lawrence River and eventually into the Atlantic Ocean.
